Architect Kim Si-mu has to take part in a hearing of the city’s Disciplinary Committee against his will. The hearing is about embezzlement and misappropriation charges. A member of the committee, Bak Hak-seok, has threatened Kim to play a role in the committee. Bak claims that allegations against Bak Seung-gyu were groundless and an official was the real villain. The hearing convenes with prominent figures with some ties to the city government. As the hearing proceeds, the truth seems to have become more blurry.

Amid overheated debate in the committee, Kim Si-mu realizes that each participant had a hidden purpose for being there. Then, who really is the offender? What are the hidden purposes of the committee members?

Episode 88

An online committee launches to support Gi-baek and Mi-ho’s marriage. The committee wages a protest and demands their parents to let the couple be wed. Gi-baek and Mi-ho try to calm down the protesters but to no avail.

Mi-ho’s father Gu Guk and Gi-baek’s mother Mal-nyeon think the online protests would soon subside as they always do. So, they decide to wait until things will get quieter. However, the uproar grows. What will they do next?

Yi-nok sneaks out and manages to meet Gil-dong. She tells him that King Gwang-hwi knew about the revolt and that the entire palace was covered with oil. Gil-dong realizes that his gang is in grave danger.

Meanwhile, King Gwnag-hwi disguises in a military uniform and readies to slip out of the palace with his royal bodyguards.

Without knowing anything, Chang-hwi, his men and Hwal-bin-dang advance closer to the palace.

Ha-ri tags along after Pung-ho to the beach resort. Pung-ho acts cold to Ha-ri. By the night time, she cannot take it anymore and leaves. He follows her and shows his true feelings for her. They kiss on the beach.

Ha-ri becomes more mature as her love for Pung-ho deepens. Pung-ho becomes weary from trying to make money for his son San’s surgery.

San’s mother So-yi learns about Pung-ho’s financial difficulties. She leaves some money with Sang-tae and asks him to help Pung-ho without keeping it secret that it was her money.

However, when Pung-ho learns that the money came from So-yi, he storms into the venue of So-yi’s news conference.
